Choudwar Rupa Yatra 2018 – A Photo story

There are about 40 Puja mandaps where idols of Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva, Goddess Laxmi, Lord Krishna and Lord Hanuman are installed & worshipped.

Choudwar Rupa Yatra: Durga Puja at Cuttack is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in Odisha & soon after the famous that the Choudwar Kumar Purnima festival begins. Like Cuttack Durga Puja, OdiaLive brings you the Update of the historic Choudwar Laxmi Puja Festival or Choudwar Kumar Purnima Yatra. At the festival, the town is decorated with colorful lights and decorations. There are about 40 Puja mandaps where idols of Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva, Goddess Laxmi, Lord Krishna, and Lord Hanuman are installed & worshipped. Melodies/Orchestras are also organized in various Puja mandaps. The festive continues for 4 days & on the final day, the idols are brought for immersion in River Birupa.
