Cuttack Durga Puja 2020 Bhasani: Immersion Ceremony completed with Sombre Goodbye to Maa Durga Amid Covid Regulations.
The Durga Puja celebrations in 2020 have come to an end as idols of Goddess Durga and her coterie are being immersed in make-shift temporary water bodies here.
Arrangements have been made in this millennium city to ensure a smooth idol immersion ceremony with restrictions on the social gathering. This year music including gongs and loudspeakers were not allowed. The immersion ceremony started at 10 AM and ended by 6 PM.
According to news portals, four-time slots were allotted to puja committees, like 10 AM-12 PM, 12 PM-2 PM, 2 PM-4 PM and 4 PM-6 PM.
